It is regretted that privet tuition system in West Bengal is eating into the vital of education. From the childhood the students are being sent to the privet tutors.Most of the privet tutors don't have the requisite qualifications and expertise to teach. They are teaching whatever has been written in the note books and so they are getting every thing by heart. Their creativity is being killed. Their brain activity is not being cultivated. This students are not being able to get success in the national level competitive examinations. The syllabus is not at par with the national level. Instead of the proper understanding a subject the students are mugging and forgetting. In English they can not compose even simple essays and letters. Grammar is being learnt mechanically. Pragmatism is lacking. Sentence construction is replete with mistakes. So the entire system should be changed. The consciousness of the guardians is at the least and so they are running after marks and so cramming is increasing . Most of the students lack knowledge in any subject and so they do not know what is to be written if a topic is given. The Govt. is also callous . The syllabus has not been done scientifically. So the students do not get interest in study.

ReplyDeleteNo the commercialism has taken us all into this abject condition. The schools have become the centres of examinations only the students are left to themselves to learn. Seeing no other alternative the guardians lacking true knowledge send them to privet tutors. The privet tutors know very well that their evaluation will be done by marks. The syllabi have been made to entice the students to score marks than to gather knowledge. The tutors are the products of note books and guide books so they can not take the students to the world of knowledge by increasing their inquisitiveness.
