West Bengal Politics New development in West Bengal political field is being observed. The influence of the ruling party is dwindling and the influence of the left is rising . We are trying to evaluate the situation here under. 1. T.M.C has failed to prove to be a political party. T.M.C. leaders are so immature that they do not understand that muscle power politics does not get mileage in democratic politics. They have forgotten that they came to power not from positive votes but from negative votes. It was expected that they would be able to capitalize it and turn them into positive votes. But instead of doing good to the people they became dependent on the goons and had success in the municipal election and panchayat election.
2. This success gave them idea that political power lies with the goons. these goons have created a reign of terror in West Bengal. Women security has come to nil . A number of rapes occurred and the C.M has supported the rapists indirectly.
3. The dependence on the goons have resulted in the group gun battle and many casualties are mounting.There is no reason that it should stop,
4. Anti social activities are on the rise . Robberies and theft are rising.Money is being collected illegally from the businessmen. Extortion is so random that the Industrialists are scared to open the industries.
5. In the education field money is being taken illegally from the students wanting to get admitted in the college.
6. he syllabus is unscientific and the students are getting out of the all India competitions.
7. TMC declared before coming to power to arrest price rise but has failed miserably.
8. corruption in appointment. In the field of appointment of the teachers qualification and merit are secondary . The primary thing is bribing. So, the rank holders are not being appointed.
9. New industries is out of question. The unemployed are desperately disappointed. 10. New industries are not coming because T.M.C has driven away Tatas from Bengal. So there is over all degradation of Bengal. this is raising hope among the lefts. They are expecting to improve their position. Some of them expecting to capture power in 2016.They are citing the examples of wining the cooperative elections and Trade Union wins but they fail to realize that these and political elections are not the same. The are no doubt better but they are to go miles . Task is not so easy.The international situation is against them and the capitalist will apply all means to resist the left, Yet,they can win if they can involve new generation people.
